Everything is better with a friend, especially dressing up for Halloween!

All this week we've been giving you tips on how to be your favorite TV characters come Oct. 31; on Monday, we offered up seven small-screen suggestions for those looking to costume it up solo this year and on Tuesday we suggested five bromances worth replicating for all the fellas out there.

Today? It's all about the ladies as we're laying out everything you'll need to dress up as four of TV's best BFFs! (Just no catfighting, OK?!)

NBCUniversal, Inc.

The Characters: Ann Perkins and Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation
How to Be Ann Perkins:
Ann likes colors and comfort, so a high-waisted skirt, blouse, cardigan, and tights are the way to go.
How to Be Leslie Knope:
Most important items: a blazer and a smile. You might also want to look into a wig, if you don't already have her bright blond hair. Optional: A "Knope 2012" pin.
How to Be Flu-Season Ann: This classic, utterly hilarious season-three episode took full advantage of Ann's role as nurse, so all you really need is a nice pair of light blue scrubs and you're a beautiful tropical fish.
How to Be Flu-Season Leslie: The ultimate attempting-to-escape-from-the-hospital-outfit: A hospital gown, a blazer, and a pair of jeans wrapped around your neck like a beautiful scarf. After all, you don't want to look too stuffy, but you also don't want to look too schlubby. Optional: A plate of delicious, delicious waffles.

Adam Rose/FOX

The Characters: Rachel Berry and Santana Lopez from Glee
How to Be Santana: Pick up the tightest dress you can find—possibly involving leopard print—and squeeze yourself into it. Add some high heels and lipstick and you're good to go.
How to Be Rachel: That bright magenta coat from the premiere was glorious. It can be bought here. Yeah, that's a lot of money for a Halloween costume, but you might as well just buy it to wear all the time. It is fall, after all.
How to Be Old-School Santana: Buy a Cheerios cheerleading outfit, throw your hair in a pony and bust out your sassiest insults.
How to Be Old-School Rachel: Think schoolgirl chic. We're talking plaid skirt, knee high socks, loafers and an oxford. Add a headband and star necklace you're good to go.

ABC/Ron Tom

The Characters: Cristina and Meredith from Grey's Anatomy
How to Be Mer and Yang: This could be pretty easy—blue scrubs and white doctor's coats, and you've got both Mer and Cristina's hospital uniforms. Tears and emotional voice-over optional.

CW

The Characters: Blair and Serena from Gossip Girl
How to Be Constance Billiard Blair: It's all about the headbands and tights. Go big and bold with both, pairing an embellished headband with brightly colored tights. Keep the uniform very preppy and put-together as Blair was all about exuding a classic look, à la Audrey Hepburn. And always have your phone in your hand.
Hwo to Be Constance Billiard Serena: Serena was effortlessly chic, even when wearing a private school uniform. Pair the plaid skirt with knee high socks, boots and a sequined vest. Lazily add on a tie and curl your hair. Then run your fingers through it and tousle it to make it look like you woke up looking that gorge.
