When Katy Perry sings "Roar" in concert, you'll hear it all right.

After performing at Tuesday night's iHeartRadio listening party in L.A. to promote her new album, Prism, the pop superstar dropped some "magical" news about what she has in mind for her upcoming tour.

"The Prism tour is going to have a lot of magical moments," Perry said in a Q&A with those in attendance, adding that she hasn't officially announced the trek yet but dates will be forthcoming.

As for what Katy-philes can expect?

"[I can tell you that this tour] I'll be closer to the fans than I ever have before," the 28-year-old hitmaker teased.

She didn't exactly specify how she plans to connect with concertgoers—fly over the audience á la Pink perhaps?

But Perry did talk about taking her tattoo artist, Bang Bang McCurdy (who also does Justin Bieber's ink), on the road with her.

The "Part of Me" singer also revealed that while she usually gets a tat in honor of each's tour's completion—so far a strawberry to mark 2009's Hello Katy trek and a peppermint swirl to celebrate 2011's California Dreams jaunt—she may get inked for Prism a little earlier.

Last but not least, Perry elaborated on the meaning of her new track, "This Moment," which she said was inspired after she read the book The Power of Now.

Prism hit stores on Oct. 18 and so far is receiving mostly positive reviews on the success of "Roar," which is her latest song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart. The record's second single, "Unconditionally," is now out to radio stations.
