The altar is where it's at for Beck.

The alternative rock poster boy has gone groom, marrying his pregnant girlfriend Marissa Ribisi in a small, private affair Apr. 4 outside Santa Barbara, sources confirmed Monday.

It's the first marriage for both Beck, 33, and his bride, a 29-year-old actress and screenwriter who happens to be the twin sister of actor Giovanni Ribisi.

The couple, an item for the past year, swapped vows in front of family and friends. According to Us Weekly, the nuptials went down at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California--site of the recent marriages of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin (on Dec. 4) and Charmed's Holly Marie Combs and David Donoho (on Valentine's Day) and proposed location of the postponed Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez wedding. (Like Ribisi, both Paltrow and Combs were preggers when they got hitched, making San Ysidro Ranch the go-to spot of choice for shotgun celebrity weddings.)

A three-time Grammy winner and critical darling best known for his slacker anthem "Loser" and the platinum-selling 1996 album Odelay, Beck has been in the studio working on a follow-up to 2002's Sea Change with the Dust Brothers, who previously produced tracks for Odelay and 1999's Midnite Vultures. He recently released the track "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime" for the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind soundtrack and recorded "True Love Will Find You in the End" for a forthcoming tribute album to indie singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston.

The single-monikered rocker (his last name is Hansen) dated clothing designer Leigh Limon for the better part of nine years before splitting in 2000, reportedly at Limon's behest. His Sea Change was a breakup album written shortly after Limon left.

Before hooking up with Ribisi, Beck was rumored to have dated Winona Ryder.

Although not as well known as her hubby or twin brother, Marissa Ribisi has worked as both an actress and screenwriter. Her big-screen credits include Clint Eastwood's True Crime, as well as Pleasantville, Dazed and Confused and The Brady Bunch Movie. She starred in the short-lived TV show Grown Ups and had guest appearances on Friends, Baywatch and Felicity. She also wrote the screenplays for the indie films Some Girl and According to Spencer.

Ribisi was in the audience earlier this month for Beck's set at a benefit concert at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, joining with the couple's fellow Scientology pals Juliette Lewis, Danny Masterson and Erika Christensen.

The newlyweds' honeymoon won't last long. Beck is due to head back into the studio, and the just-about-bursting Ribisi is expecting the couple's first child in May.
