The big day is almost here!

Prince George's christening is set to take place next Wednesday and Kensington Palace is revealing even more details about the very special occasion.

The "private and intimate family event" should last approximately 45 minutes and will take place at the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace at 3 p.m.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's firstborn will be baptized by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most. Reverend Justin Welby. What a high honor!

And when it comes to making sure that memories from the christening last forever, don't worry, the royals have that covered too.

A palace rota and official photographer will be on hand to capture the family's every picture-worthy move.

In fact, official christening photographs will be taken in Clarence House following the service.

And we won't have to wait long to see the royal family all dressed in their christening garb.

According to the palace's press release, a selection of official photographs will be released the following day on Thursday, Oct. 24.

So who can we expect to see at the fancy affair?

Buckingham Palace representatives have informed us that while "a guest list will be released nearer the time" of the ceremony, it has been confirmed that Princess Anne and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, will not be there.

Prince George's other aunt (and uncle), Pippa Middleton and Prince Harry, will undoubtedly be in attendance.

And when it comes to the christening, a royal source tells E! News, "William and Kate are going to do things differently, and actually, their families are respectful of that. This won't be a case of a big rift. Christenings are not state occasions. They're private affairs and can be as big or intimate as the parents desire."

It's bound to be a royal spectacle!
