One Direction Release Childhood Photos to Announce Next Single "Story of My Life"

The group has been on tour in Australia for the last several weeks

No it's not Christmas just yet, but it may as well be if you're a Directioner.

The boys of One Direction chose a rather creative way to announce the name of their next single "Story of My Life"—by posting throwback pics on their individual Twitter accounts!

New music and childhood photos?! Stop. We can't.

Let's take a gander at all five of the boys' pics, shall we?

First up is the always adorable Harry Styles. The heartthrob is a wide-eyed toddler in his throwback photo.

Styles is shown wearing a blue and red Goofy sweater while holding his favorite toys in his left hand. Aside from the bowl-cut, he looks practically the exact same!

Then there's Louis Tomlinson. He's seen posing with two other kids looking all kinds of precious. Seriously, look at those ears!

Zayn Malik tweeted a silly pic of himself snuggling up to a friend. It looks like the boy-bander has been rocking the same hairstyle ever since he was a wee one!

But maybe one of the cutest throwback pics is from none other than Niall Horan.

He wrote as a caption to his pic, "Can't wait for you guys to hear Story of My Life!"

He appears fully dressed in head-to-toe fatigues with a helmet and even a rifle (we hope that's fake?!).

Horan still has the same rosy cheeks and big smile that's caused girls far and wide to fall for him.

And last up on the list is Liam Payne, who made a cute contribution of his own.

The singer's pic shows him posing with a wizard during what must have been an unforgettable childhood outing.

It looks like these guys have had some serious star power even at a young age!

The single is set to be releases on Oct. 28 while their upcoming album Midnight Memories will hit shelves on Nov. 25.
