On Tuesday's edition of Live From E!, Jason Kennedy, Will Marfuggi and Melanie Bromley started off by discussing Tom Hanks' recent health revelation.

On Oct. 7's The Late Show with David Letterman, the 57-year-old Captain Phillips actor revealed that he has Type 2 diabetes.

"I went to the doctor and he said, 'You know those high blood sugar numbers you've been dealing with since you were 36? Well, you've graduated. You've got Type 2 diabetes, young man,'" Hanks shared.

The trio wondered whether this diagnosis could possibly be related to an actor's need to sometimes put on and take weight for his acting roles. They also refer to Matthew McConaughey's many crash diets and binges, as well as Renée Zellweger's diet for Bridget Jones' Diary.

Finally, the panel talked about the biggest royal news of the day! E! News reports that Prince Harry is getting really serious and wants to settle down with girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

"Seeing Prince William and Kate [Middleton] get married and settle down has had a real effect on Harry," a source explained. "He's just seen how happy they are and he's realized that he wants that too."

Melanie says the blond beauty is really free-spirited and is a little bit of a hippie, and hopes that there will be another royal wedding next year.
