Things are going to either get really good or really bad—which is also kinda good, for the viewers, anyway—on tomorrow night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, because for the first time since their blowout Twitter war, Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West are going to meet and sit down face-to-face.

E! News has learned that the rapper will be a guest on Wednesday's late-night show, hopefully to clear the air and call a truce with the host, who Yeezy slammed after he spoofed the artist's interview with BBC Radio One.

Unless, of course, the whole feud was just another one of Kimmel's pranks and he successfully fooled us all (again).

Twitter

"And as if Elton John isn't enough for one week we've also got a great—and potentially uncomfortable—show planned for tomorrow. Kanye West will be here," Kimmel said during his show tonight.

"Kanye and I had a disagreement a couple of weeks ago and it got a little bit out of hand. Tomorrow night, we will sit down and discuss it like normal people do—on television," he added. "It'll just be us and Dr. Phil. And neither of us is leaving until this government shutdown gets solved. So if you've always wanted to see a talk show host get strangled by a pair of leather jogging pants, join us tomorrow."

In mid-September, Kanye blasted Kimmel on Twitter, telling the celeb, "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE... YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER," he continued. "YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY...IS THAT FUNNY?...OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD BE FUNNY???"

"SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F--KING BEN AFFLECK…#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!" he went on.

Meanwhile, Kimmel participated in the Internet fiasco but kept seemingly cool (at least, he didn't opt to use shouty capitals or produce any memes).

Twitter

"apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me...." the funnyman tweeted when he first got wind of Kanye's rant. "if it's not too much trouble @kanyewest, would you mind using @jimmykimmel ? Thanks"

The epic feud continued to go on and on (and on), and even fired back up again after everyone thought it was over.

People who witnessed the Twitter showdown were anxiously waiting for Kimmel to address the situation on the show that evening, which he did, but there was no "just kidding" moment that some may have expected.

"Quick question," Jimmy kicked off the show. "Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK, I didn't know if he was mad at all of us."

"I don't understand it, I don't know why he's angry again," Jimmy continued. "I thought the bit was pretty innocuous. Finally, I'm in a rap feud."

Hopefully, tomorrow's show will give us some answers (or at least some more entertainment).
