Thor and Loki are joining forces.

A new clip from Marvel's Thor: The Dark World has hit the web and finds the crown prince of Asgard (Chris Hemsworth) looking for all the help he can get to save the Nine Realms from a new enemy.

To that end, the scene shows Thor calling upon his adoptive brother (Tom Hiddleston), who has been in jail ever since he was soundly defeated in 2012's The Avengers. Together, the two negotiate an uncomfortable alliance.

"I know you seek vengeance as much as I do. If you help me escape Asgard, I will grant it to you," the hammer god tells him.

"You must be truly desperate to come to me for help," Loki replies. "What makes you think you can trust me?"

Thor clearly doesn't but appeals to what was once a strong sibling bond.

"I don't," he tells him. "But you should know when we fought each other in the past, I did so with a glimmer of hope that my brother was in there somewhere…you betray me and I will kill you."

When do we start?" asks Loki.

Ahh…brotherly love.

In the highly anticipated sequel, Thor and Loki will battle the Dark Elves, an ancient race led by Malekitch the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston) that seeks to plunge the universe into darkness.

The action takes place a year after the events in The Avengers and also finds our titular hero smoothing things over with his ladylove, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who he didn't bother to see during that last adventure. In The Dark World, he now brings Jane to Asgard after she's infected by a mysterious energy.

Thor: The Dark World, directed by Alan Taylor, hits theaters on Nov. 8.
