The younger sister of The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco is moving forward on The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team and she couldn't be more excited—or surprised!
"To be honest, I thought [Christina] was the last person who would actually turn around and it's just such a compliment coming from her 'cause she's one of the greatest vocalists of all time, you know," Briana told E! News. "I'm just so excited to work with her."
And perhaps because she never expected the "Genie in a Bottle" singer (the song "was in the car when I was driving here!" she exclaimed) to turn around, Briana "maybe was leaning toward [Blake Shelton or Adam Levine]" instead.
"They didn't turn around, so it wasn't an option—but I really didn't know," Briana added, laughing, when asked if she knew ahead of time which coach she wanted to go with. "You never know how you're going to feel when you go up there...Either way, with any of them I would've been fine. They're all incredible. The fact that I even had a choice was pretty cool."
While Christina was first to turn around, CeeLo Green also swiveled at the last second.
But now that she is safely on Team Christina, Briana can't wait to train with her superstar coach.
"Dude, vocally?" she said incredulously. "The amount of things I can suck up from her, hopefully, is ridiculous!"
"Especially when you're with someone who's one of the best singers in the entire world," Briana added, "you're forced to raise your game, you have to step up to the plate...and I think in this business you need a little kick in the ass to do that."
And of course, Briana isn't the only Cuoco who's having a moment right now.
"I am so excited," she said regarding Kaley's engagement to tennis player Ryan Sweeting. "I love Ryan, I love Kaley. I couldn't have picked a better man for her and I'm thrilled."
"He only calls me 'sister' now, it's really cute. I love it," Briana gushed. "He's great, I'm really excited."
The aspiring singer also said that her family has been "wonderful" about her trying out for The Voice.
"My sister and my parents, we all have just forever and ever wanted to be rocks and supports for each other," Briana explained. "Kaley is that for me and I am that for her, and it was incredible having her there at truly one of the best moments of my life. My parents are just the best people on the planet and they're so happy for me. It was truly the best moment of my life."
