In this exclusive first look at next week's episode of Chicago Fire, titled "Defcon 1", Severide (Kinney) and his team have to rescue the people who usually do the rescuing! Casey (Jesse Spencer) gets trapped while trying to extract survivors from a building fire, and the only way out is through the basement.
Elsewhere in the episode, Severide is convinced that he knows who the serial arsonist is, but needs to find proof before coming out with it. Casey is struggling to adjust to his new lifestyle and Molly's bar is sinking, much to the chagrin of owners Hermann (David Eigenberg), Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Otis (Yuri Sardarov). Basically, no one is having a good week on Chicago Fire.
Except for Mouch (Christian Stolte), whose campaign trail will get back on track thanks to some surprising professional help.
