Ali Fedotowsky is so happy for her girl Kaley Cuoco.

The former Bachelorette star dished the deets on her gal pal's surprising engagement on E! News today, including the story that Ryan Sweeting decided to pick a fight with his ladylove the day he chose to propose. But it was all for a good reason, really.

"Hearing Kaley and Ryan tell the story—it's so endearing," Ali told us. "He did pick a fight because they were on the set of her new movie The Wedding Ringer and he needed to leave but he needed an excuse and he didn't know what to do, so he picked a fight to go home and prepare to propose. She didn't know that at first, but when she got home, she was so floored and beyond happy."

Fedotowsky also got an up close look at Cuoco's massive sparkler while hanging out together over the weekend.

"It is so gorgeous! I said to her, 'Kaley, you must not be able to keep your eyes off of it,' and she's like, 'I know, I can't. I keep staring at my hand.' It's exactly what she would have picked for herself and she loves it."

The Big Bang Theory actress' engagement came from left field for most people, especially since the couple have only been together for a short period of time, but Ali reassures us that this is something real.

"I actually think it's super romantic. They met, they fell in love. Friends of both their families have known each other for a really long time, so they feel like they've known each other forever. It's romantic!"

"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic," Cuoco told Entertainment Tonight yesterday, her first time speaking out since confirming last week that she and the Bahamian-born tennis player were planning to tie the knot.

"We have all the same family friends," she continued. "We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."

And that's what matters.
