Now that it's officially an appropriate time to start planning your Halloween costume, folks have started purchasing gear for the annual spooky holiday, and apparently, various replicas of Miley Cyrus' infamous foam finger from her scandalous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August are already flying off shelves.
And you thought you had an original idea!
There are currently two vendors on Amazon that are selling copies of the foam finger, which Miley used to make raunchy gestures while grinding up against Robin Thicke during the show, but the red-nailed replicas are reportedly selling out quickly, indicating Miley Cyrus just may be one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year.
T-shirts that bear an image of the 20-year-old pop star's twerking teddy bear leotard are also available on the site, although it's not quite as easy to get your hands on a pair of the flesh-colored latex bra and panties she stripped down to later in the show.
Both foam fingers are available for less than $15, while the tees retail for under $23.
"Drop some jaws and raise more than just eyebrows with this outrageous foam finger," reads the item description. "A replica of a certain former teeny-bopper's from a certain scandalous award show performance. We know you want it."
And two Amazon users have even reviewed the other foam finger, noting that it's "guaranteed to make you twerk," while another wrote that the item is "a must if you're looking for laughs."
No word yet how the inventor of the foam finger feels about the increase in product sales, although it's safe to assume he's not too pleased, considering he previously said Miley "took an honorable icon that is seen in sporting venues everywhere and degraded it."
