It was an emotional morning for Kellie Pickler.

The country cutie stopped by Good Morning America today with her long-time pal and cancer survivor Summer Holt Miller to help kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Pickler performed her new song "Someone Somewhere" for the packed house of guests who were there to show their support for breast cancer awareness. But by the end of Pickler's performance, she couldn't hold back any longer and was brought to tears.

During Pickler's gorgeous ballad, Miller could be seen wiping tears from her eyes while watching from the front row of the audience.

When Pickler went to sing the very last few words of her song, she choked up and started crying. "I love you," she said to Miller from the stage. Miller was seen mouthing in reply "I love you" back to Pickler.

So sweet.

Pickler famously shaved her head on GMA back in September of 2012 to support Miller, who was battling breast cancer at the time and shaved her head before undergoing chemotherapy. "If this compels even one person to change their mentality toward waiting until the age of 40 for their mammogram, then it will be worth it," Miller said then.

Before her emotional and moving performance, Pickler tweeted, "Hey Y'all! @Summer_H_Miller & I are kicking off #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth on @GMA TOMORROW! Be sure to watch!! Follow->@BaldBeauties."

GMA host and cancer survivor Robin Roberts also shared, "Many thanks to @kelliepickler, she's so dear and a true friend especially when facing a crisis like cancer. #Go Pink."
