Kaley Cuoco is apparently full aware of how people may have taken the news that she got engaged to Ryan Sweeting after only about three months of dating.

"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic," the Big Bang Theory star told Entertainment Tonight, her first time speaking out since confirming last week that she and the Bahamian-born tennis player were planning to tie the knot.

"We have all the same family friends," she continued. "We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."

And things only sounded crazier from there when Cuoco, who spent a couple of weeks in the company of Henry Cavill in early July, also told ET that Sweeting picked an argument with her on the night he ended up proposing.

Aw, maybe the lovestruck guy was nervous...

"He actually started a little fight with me and threw me off," Cuoco laughed. "I was like 'Oh my God, things aren't great.' [But] he surprised me at the end of the night...he popped the ring out. It was amazing."

Cuoco and Sweeting made for a glamorous couple on the red carpet at the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards and then the actress was spotted with a sparkly diamond ring on that finger just two days later.
