Add Snoop Dogg's son to the list of supporters who approve of USC coach Lane Kiffin's firing.

Four-star high school wide receiver Cordell Broadus, who is currently considered to be one of the top college prospects from California in the 2015 class, told 247Sports that he agrees with the university's decision to fire the former football coach, who succeeded the popular Pete Carroll as coach in 2010.

"I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year," Broadus, who is currently ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver in the nation by 247Sports, said.

Kiffin was let go Sunday hours after the Trojans lost to Arizona State, 62-41, at Tempe, Ariz.

According to published reports, he is the first USC football coach to be dismissed in the middle of a season, with Ed Orgeron currently serving as the interim coach while the school works to find a permanent replacement.

"It's never the perfect time to do these things," USC Athletic Director Pat Haden said during an afternoon news conference on campus (as reported by the Los Angeles Times), "but I thought it was the right time."

"I'm anxious to see what they are going to look like," Broadus added of the legendary football team that will surely be hoping for a comeback mid-season.

No doubt, many agree.
