The former child actress is revealing shocking details about growing up in Tinseltown in her new tell-all titled, what else, Melissa Explains It All.
And now the Clarissa Explains It All star is sharing another unexpected tidbit to Life and Style magazine: She made out with Ryan Reynolds back in the day and she even broke the news to the actor's wife, Blake Lively.
"Blake reached out to me last year and she asked me to help her with a birthday present for Ryan," Melissa told the mag.
She then had to explain to the blond beauty that she once hooked up with her hunky husband and that it would soon be public knowledge in her book.
Oooh, so Ryan didn't tell his wife about his former fling! Wonder if the former Gossip Girl star was caught off guard.
"It's funny. I told her, ‘Just so you know, I'm coming out with a book,' and she was like, ‘Okay!'"
Okay, indeed. So, are the two actresses' still friends even after this hookup revelation?
"We are actually friendly with each other," Melissa said.
And now, the details about the hook up. The pair met on the set of he 1996 Sabrina, the Teenage Witch TV movie. After Ryan gave Melissa a watch on his last day of filming, the duo ended up making out in her hotel room.
"I remember that his lips were pretty wonderful, plus he has these big hands and shoulders that completely swallowed my petite frame," she admitted. "It was a terrific distraction from how strongly he smelled of hair product."
Wow, Melissa has a good memory!
The 37-year-old also confessed to surprising hookups with a few very famous faces as well as her drug-fueled days of partying among young Hollywood's elite.
"I experimented with weed, Ecstasy, mushrooms and mescaline for about a year and a half," she said.
