Abercrombie & Fitch, the trendiest clothing line in middle school, isn't like a regular clothing line. It's a cool clothing line. They know the 411, they know the hot gossip and they know the coolest jam right now is viral sensation, "The Fox."

The video, by Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis, has racked up nearly 55 million views on YouTube, earned its' creators a trip to Ellen and has been covered countless times. The latest lip sync by the shirtless models of A&F.

The video is odd for a few reasons: 1) Corporate "parodies" of viral videos are always a bit iffy. 2) At points, it verges on furry fandom territory. 3) There's not a single double-popped collar in sight. This is the Abercrombie, right?

If you don't have one minute and 13 seconds to spare (or just don't want "ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding" stuck in your head for the rest of the day), here is the video boiled down to what you actually care about:

Since we're on the topic of "The Fox," here is another adaptation of the video, this time done by Norwegian animators Tommy and Markus Vad Flaaten of Twintrash (H/T Laughing Squid).

It tells "the untold backstory" of the fox and it is heartbreaking. Or as heartbreaking as a cartoon based off a ridiculous viral video can be.

And just for the record, this is what the fox actually says.
