Lamar Odom's Tweet Is "Promising" to Kardashian Family: They Hope He's "Finally on the Right Track"

Source tells E! News exclusively Khloé Kardashian Odom and family have always had "nothing but love" for troubled athlete

Lamar Odom made it very clear that marrying Khloé Kardashian Odom—and her family—was a true "blessing" in his life.

When the 33-year-old athlete broke his silence on Twitter Tuesday, Sept. 24, he slammed his estranged father Joe Odom and praised the Kardashians for being "the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time." And as a source tells E! News exclusively, Lamar's comments about the supportive Kardashians came as "promising news to the entire family."

Understandably, a source says Lamar speaking out has been "very emotional" for everyone. "It's always been nothing but love," adds the source. "They hope Lamar's finally on the right track."

A source told E! News last week that "life is starting to move on for [Khloé]  and for the rest of the family" and there would be "no more interventions, no more trying to save [Lamar]."

He very briefly tried rehab before—for less than a day—but let's hope Lamar's recent tweet is an indication that he's really ready to get himself healthy again.
