Diane Kruger, Heather Graham and More Stars Wow at the Metropolitan Opera Opening in NYC

Stars go all out in the big apple

While A-listers in Hollywood were recovering from the Emmy awards (and parties), across the country celebs were getting gussied up for another big event: NYC's Metropolitan Opera season opening.

Stars went all out for the fete too. Heather Graham continued the emerald gown trend with a sparkling Naeem Kham dress with tulle petal hemline, while supermodel Coco Rocha rocked a ruffled number by Canadian designers' Greta Constantine. As she arrived to the event she tweeted a snapshot of her look (both front and back), adding that she was "so excited."

But the belle of the ball? Definitely Diane Kruger. The actress arrived in a stunning Prabal Gurung gown that could not be ignored. And apparently Joshua Jackson agreed to sit this one out because her date was non other than the designer himself! You may remember that just last week was arm and arm with Sarah Jessica Parker at the Ballet gala.

Rounding up the gown-clad stars were Brooke Shields (in a cape-adorned sheath), Kelly Rutherford and Mischa Barton. The former O.C. star kept things casual in a black draped dress and minimal makeup.
