Were the Emmys the Most Boring Thing on TV?!

Live From E! crew discusses all the big points from last night's awards show

On today's edition of Live From E! the big topic at hand was—you guessed it—the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards!

Jason Kennedy, Ken Baker, Kristin Dos Santos and Melanie Bromley actually didn't have the most complimentary things to say about last night's telecast. In fact, they called the event one of the most boring shows on TV!

So what were some of the low moments?

Well, the in memoriam tributes sprinkled throughout the ceremony caused too many spikes and dips in the emotional temperature of the show. As opposed to the usual two- or three-minute-long montage, five tributes—including segments for Cory Monteith and James Gandolfini—were broken out specially between Emmy presentations, which not only offended some who thought that the in memoriam segment should be equal-opportunity, but also seemed to slow things down.

The next point of contention was that the Emmys just wasn't as funny as it could have been. Host Neil Patrick Harris could have upped the ante with the laughs, but for whatever reason, it was pretty underwhelming, making Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's appearance the most memorable and hilarious of the night.

Speaking of Fey, Baker goes on to question whether or not the funnywoman had undergone some, ahem, changes to her breasts, resulting in her va-va-voom look last night.

We also hold our first (and maybe our last) annual Studio E! Awards Show Awards Show. Watch and see!
