Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale may have won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, but it was his girlfriend Rose Byrne who was the true winner. After all, the I Give It a Year actress was hailed "the love of my life" during Cannavale's acceptance speech.

The Calvin Klein Collection-clad stars celebrated Cannavale's win at HBO's official afterparty, where they were seen chatting up Boardwalk Empire star Chris Caldovino. Other stars at the soiree included fellow Emmy winners Jeff Daniels and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, as well as nominees Emilia Clarke, Michelle Dockery, Kerry Washington, Jane Fonda, Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet and Lena Dunham.

Cannavale, 43, and Byrne, 34, began dating in the fall of 2012 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the CFDA Fashion Awards in June 2013. It wasn't until recently that Byrne began to embrace the idea of falling in love and getting married.

"I was very shy and sensible as a child and pretty much into my 20s," she recently told the U.K.'s Stylist. "It was the same if boys liked me. I was very quiet and secretive about it and found romance icky. But as I've gotten older I've definitely tried to appreciate it more and delight in those sorts of things more because they are actually precious and special. I'm trying to soften a bit because I think I can be too...practical?"

The Insidious: Chapter 2 star added, "It's nice to be a bit freer."
