The Private Practice thesp is set to guest star on the Fox comedy show and will start shooting an upcoming episode this week, a rep for Diggs tells E! News.
It looks like Diggs' character, Artie, will mix up things for Zooey Deschanel's Jess, considering he will reportedly play a "potential romantic distraction" for her, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Apparently, Artie is a "smooth, confident ladies' man," which means Nick (Jake Johnson) better watch out.
The episode is likely to air in November, the mag reported.
