Well just two days later, the 38-year-old funnyman stepped out in NYC arm-in-arm with Hugh Grant's ex Jemima Khan.
The point of Russell's verbose Guardian piece was to explain just why he made a gaffe at the British GQ Men of the Year Awards about Hugo Boss outfitting the Nazi party (long story short: He thought the whole night was a joke). But he also revealed that while he usually isn't "immune to the allure of objectified women," he was that evening, thanks to a certain lady. He even quoted a friend sentimentally, saying, "Being in love is like discovering a concealed ballroom in a house you've long inhabited."
Well, Khan, 39, certainly seems like the object of Brand's affection, based on body language alone. The New Statesman editor was married to a Pakistani cricketer turned politician Imran Khan from 1995 to 2004, and she dated Grant from to 2005 to 2007.
