Designer Thom Browne definitely knows how to put on one memorable fashion show!

For his New York Fashion Week presentation, the American fashion guru gave a creepy chic presentation, surprising guests with makeup looks that appeared to have been borrowed from the Joker (think smeared red lipstick on stark white face paint), and eerie décor that included "headless plaster bodies hanging from the ceiling," according to Women's Wear Daily.

And the fashions definitely lived up to the out-there fashions too, with Browne sending larger-than-life shoulder silhouettes, ruffles  and voluminous skirts and culottes down the runway.

But the showman proved his presentation skills extend beyond the runway with his elegant Bon Appetit Presents Feast or Fashion post-runway show dinner.

Weren't able to snag an invitation to dine among trendsetters, like Man Repeller's Leandra Medine or Dree Hemingway?

Not to worry, because we got a behind-the-scenes peek at the prep for the big dinner at New York's La Grenouille restaurant—one of Browne's favorites!

We tagged along Browne for the menu tasting for his big night and got his thoughts on picking everything from a main course to decadent dessert.
