Elizabeth Berkley: Dancing Is the Key to Losing Baby Weight

New mom reveals Dancing With the Stars show has helped her slim down

Saved by the bell? Try dancing!

Former Saved by the Bell star and current Dancing With the Stars competitor Elizabeth Berkley highly recommends busting a move for gals looking to drop baby weight.

"For all new moms out there, dancing is the key," advises Berkley, who welcomed baby boy Sky Cole Lauren with hubby Greg Lauren back in July.

And since her season of the reality-competition show isn't slated to begin until Monday, Sept. 16, she has plenty of ballroom workouts ahead of her, and she's inviting fellow moms to join her as she sheds those final pounds.

"You know, I'm in the process right now, but they can go on that journey with me," Berkley says about her changing figure.

She's looking pretty svelte to us, especially considering it's only been a few months since she gave birth, but we're betting the show will nevertheless transform the star's physique with its demanding practices and routines.

She definitely wouldn't be the first contestant to slim down before our very eyes on the program. Marie Osmand, Kristie Alley and many more stars have all famously left the dance floor looking far leaner than when they first stepped on it.
