Fact: Amy Poehler is more fun than you.

Sorry, but it's pretty much indisputable given how funny the leading lady is on NBC's Parks and Recreation, not to mention how quickly she can ad-lib a twerk-inspired rant when answering a (lame) interview question about Miley Cyrus (who, of course, has been much talked about lately for her twerking and nakedness, and who will be hosting Saturday Night Live on Oct 5).

The Q: "How do you feel Miley Cyrus will do as an SNL host?"

Amy Poehler's answer: "I think [Miley] will probably be great. Those people that sing and host, I don't know how they do it…It's so much work. It's crazy! But she's young. It's so much work and it's so much twerk. But she's good at hard twerk. We know that."

So how is Amy's twerk? "I twerk to live. I don't live to twerk," Poehler explains. "And that's the difference. For me, it's like, ‘All twerk and no play, makes Amy a grouchy person.'…As a twerking mother, I‘m like, ‘Get me to twerk, I gotta get off vacation!'"

She also had this to say about  balancing work and being a mom: "When you're a twerking mother, balance is really important because you don't want to go too low and blow out your butt and bust your knee. So balance as a twerking mother is important. What I do is, I don't bring my boys with me when I'm twerking. I want to keep my twerk and my boys separate. And they really don't want to see that. It's not good for them. Also, I twerk real slow. My twerking is not about style it's more about longevity. I start real slow."

Twerking moms of the world, can't you just relate?!

We chatted with Poehler on the set of Parks and Recreation, which returns Sept. 26 to NBC, and don't you worry, fans, we've got lots of show scoop coming your way closer to the premiere.

But for now, we can tell you that Poelher also put in her two cents about who might make great new anchors of SNL's Weekend Update, since her buddy Seth Myers is leaving for his own late-night show.

"Maybe Malia and Sasha [Obama]? What if Update became just cool kids that were really tired at 11:30 at night?" she says with a laugh.

Poehler herself says she hasn't heard who will get the gig, but "I ask Seth and [Lorne Michaels] all the time about it. I just saw Seth at his wedding, his beautiful wedding, and I'm really excited about his new job. He's the last of my class that's still there…And the new seniors are so talented. So it's gonna be an interesting year. A huge growing year."

And for the record, Poehler isn't worried about how SNL will survive the loss of so many key players in the past couple years (Jason Sudeikis, Seth Myers, Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg).

"It's so funny," Poehler muses. "It happens every time since I've been a young person until just recently in the past 12 years I was on the show. Everyone's always like, ‘How is SNL gonna recover?!' And it continues to create all these big names and stars."
