Clearly, The Carrie Diaries' Chloe Bridges was not familiar with how intense Fifty Shades of Grey gets.

The actress revealed to Cosmopolitan.com at the Alice + Olivia presentation for New York's Fashion Week that she had a hard time when auditioning for the role of Anastasia Steele.

"There were three pages of sides that I was going to audition with," she explained. "I read them and then was like, I really can't do this."

According to the young brunette, the content of the pages was much more scandalous than she expected.

"If you read these three pages of sides, you would die," she said. "I still like show them to my friends for fun."

And while Bridges didn't want to divulge too much about what the script contained, she did share a snippet of what moviegoers can expect to see on the big screen.

"The scene was, like, the girl telling her friends about some sexcapade she had…But it goes into extreme detail and uses the word sperm a couple times," she shared. "I was like, I don't know guys, I have to go home to my grandparent's house in a few months at Christmas, I don't know if I can do this."

The 21-year-old went on to say that the word sperm was used "in a very sexual way," and not at all in a clinical context.

"It was intense. So mad props to the people who are going to do it. You had to be able to take it seriously and not laugh or turn bright red."

But don't be quick to label Bridges as a prude. The actress did note that she isn't anti-sex scenes, but that it needs to feel right to her.

"I feel like I would have less problem being nude than I would being graphic. Does that make sense?"

Clearly Dakota Johnson had no problem with what was in those three sides for the audition. She and Charlie Hunnam have signed on to play the stars in the film adaptation of the erotic novel.

And we cannot wait!
