More stamps of approval!

Yet another costar has come forward to express unwavering support for Charlie Hunnam's new role as Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Revenge star Gabriel Mann, who played alongside Hunnam in the 2002 film Abandon, has come forward to say that the hunky actor was the "perfect choice" for the highly anticipated film.

"Charlie is the nicest and best guy in the world," Mann told E! News at New York Fashion Week's #DKNY25 Birthday Bash. "I think he is just perfect for the role. If I can't play it, then I am really psyched Charlie is doing it!"

And when asked about the recent backlash surrounding the casting news, Mann thinks that the fans will be extremely happy with the final product.

"I think it's going to be incredible," he said of the upcoming flick. "I understand that people have their favorites, I get that, but I would say this is the movie people don't even know that they want what they are about to get."

Following the Hunnam and Dakota Johnson announcement, a petition surfaced to have Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer recast as the stars in the movie.

Since then, however, Bomer has graciously thanked fans for their support and added, "I'm looking forward to seeing the movie with Charlie and Dakota."

And the man of the hour has broken his silence on the controversial role as well.

Hunnam told E! News at the Sons of Anarchy premiere last week that he's excited about his next project—even with all the pressure that comes with it.

"It's incredibly exciting. He's a very complex and fascinating character, and I just feel really excited and delighted," he told us.

"He's obviously a very well-loved character and it's a big responsibility to take it on, but I didn't do it lightly. I did a lot of research and I did a lot of thinking about it and feel confident that I have a way to bring him to life that will be fun and exciting and honest."

We're confident as well, Mr. Grey.
