AKM-GSINicole Richie and Joel Madden had a very festive weekend with family and friends!
The Hollywood couple and proud parents of two threw a big Spiderman-themed bash for their son Sparrow James Midnight Madden, who was celebrating his fourth birthday, at their home in Laurel Canyon, Calif., on Saturday, a source tells E! News.
"They had Spiderman balloons and a big banner for Sparrow where guests were arriving. There was a valet in the driveway and everyone pulled up and got out there," the source said.
According to the insider, guests included celebs Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren along with their daughters Honor and Haven, Gwen Stefani with her son Zuma and jewelry designer Jen Meyer with her kids Ruby and Otis.
"Joel was in the driveway greeting people and then leading them out into the backyard. The party was outside by the pool and a lot of kids went swimming while the parents watched. It was a hot day and everyone was having a lot of fun cooling off and splashing in the water," the source added, "The party lasted all afternoon and people stayed for a few hours before leaving."
There was no word on whether or not Richie aka Nikki Rich performed her new rap song for the crowd.
