Keira Knightley may seem at ease on the big screen, but when it comes to showing off her vocal chops in her upcoming flick Can A Song Save Your Life, the 28-year-old beauty isn't afraid to admit she was terrified.

"I literally was given the songs for this about a week before we started shooting," the stunning star confessed to E! News at the premiere for the film, which debuted at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

"We had to go straight into the studio, and I had never sung before and I had to just kind of try and figure it out," the newlywed admits. "So that's what I did. I'm not going to do it again, that was it."

Despite sharing the screen with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine in the John Carney-directed film, Knightley insists she's done dipping her toes into the musical waters.

"No no no, that was my one and only," she emphatically says of her short-lived music career. "Come and see this film, that'll be it."

And when questioned about a possible future stint on the Broadway stage, Knightley could not be more firm with her answer.

"No, absolutely not," the actress, who plays a struggling musician in upcoming film, says without hesitation when asked if she would ever do Broadway. "It's amazing when you can say something that equivocally."

While Keira may be embarrassed of her singing ability, the actress seemingly has an advantage, considering she recently said "I Do" to James Righton, the covocalist and keyboardist for Klaxons.

So did Keira's hubby lend the newbie singer a helping hand?

Not quite.

"I think he just laughed a lot really," she admits with a chuckle when questioned about her man's reaction to her music. "You know, saying, 'Oh yeah, good luck.''"

We're sure you did great, girl.

For more from Keira and all the A-listers at the Toronto Film Festival, including Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and more, be sure to watch E! News tonight at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.!
