We can think of another reason as to why Simon Cowell may be extra-excited to have a son.

"That's my life, it's always been that way," the expectant dad told E! News matter-of-factly at last night's red-carpet premiere of The X Factor, when asked what it's like to be surrounded by women this season at the judges' table.

"I've always had my ex-girlfriends around, a lot of my friends are girls—working with three girls on the panel is just a natural extension of that," Cowell shrugged.

The ladies man isn't kidding. He almost always has at least two exes with him, including last night, when he sat at the screening with makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy, who works on The X Factor, and Terri Seymour.

But while he couldn't officially confirm that he does indeed have a baby boy on the way with girlfriend Lauren Silverman—"I can't," he apologized when we asked—Cowell did reveal what he is and isn't looking forward to when it comes to daddy duty.

On the pro side?

"Going to Disneyland," he said, very seriously. "I get an excuse to go now. And watching more cartoons."

But unlike his compatriot Prince William, he will not be changing nappies in the midnight hour. Or any hour.

Asked if he was scared of anything, he said, "Someone mentioned diapers. I couldn't do all that."

Being one of the richest men in England, we imagine he'll find a veritable army of Mary Poppins types to keep that baby clean and dry.
