It's a girl!

Jimmie Johnson and wife Chandra welcomed their second daughter, Lydia Norriss, at 2:02 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, according to the NASCAR star's Facebook page and Instagram.

Little Lydia weighed in at 5 pounds, 10 ounces, is 19 inches long and joins 3-year-old big sister Genevieve Marie.

"Both mother and baby are doing well," reads the statement, which has already garnered over 1,700 "likes" on the social networking site. "Big sister Genevieve Marie, 3, is said to be very proud of her new baby sister."

The Facebook post also announced that Johnson will miss today's events at Richmond International Raceway track in Virginia—with Regan Smith serving as the interim driver—but he will be back in the driver's seat of his No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet for Saturday night's Sprint Cup Series event, where he hopes to take home his sixth championship.

Jimmie and Chandra reportedly met in 2002 after they were introduced by mutual friends. Johnson popped the question on a snowboarding vacation in Colorado in December 2003.

The couple was married a year later on the Caribbean island of St. Barts, and they welcomed their first child on July 7, 2010.

The doting dad, whose Twitter bio reads, "Racer, Chandra's husband and Genevieve's dad, I love my girls!," recently opened up to USA Today about his deep love for his family.

"I just love being connected to my wife and my daughter," he said. "That nucleus is so important to me and it really balances me all out."

The five-time Sprint Cup champion also adorably admitted his little girl is growing up too fast.

"Honestly, the song that is stuck in my head that she [Genevieve] walks around singing—which is crazy—is a Taylor Swift song where she says, 'We will never get back together.' That's the chorus she knows. So to watch my 3-year-old daughter singing about a breakup with a boy she's never going to get back together with, it's just freaking me out, to be honest. I'm like, 'This is way too early for all of this!'"

Too cute. Congrats, you two!
