Charlie Hunnam, Pacific Rim

Some 50 Shades of Grey fans are really, really, really upset that Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has been cast as Christian Grey for the movie adaptation. Like, so upset they are asking the president of the United States to do something about it. Because Mr. Obama has nothing else to worry about, right?

But at the very least, Hunnam has support from his Pacific Rim costar and fellow FX actor Charlie Day, who recently told us that he thinks the SoA tough guy will be perfect in the role for two reasons.

"First of all, I think he's going to do fantastic because he's a great actor and a handsome guy," Day tells us. "And when you're seeing a movie about sex, you want a handsome guy. On top of that, he's a good actor, so I think he's going to do a great job."

He's not wrong. Hunnam has earned a Critics' Choice nomination for his portrayal of Jax Teller on the acclaimed FX drama. Plus, he is damn handsome. So before you get your panties in a wad over the casting, maybe you should give the blonde Brit the benefit of the doubt.

Day also spilled some scoop on the new season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which premieres tonight on FX.

"As usual, there will be a couple of classic right down the middle Sunny episodes which won't seem out of the format of the show, and then we'll surprise you with a couple," he previews. "We have one or two that are real big swings and I'm really happy with how they're turning out. We even have an animated sequence in one of our episodes this year which is a lot of fun."
