In one pic, an opened-mouthed Garner looks shocked at something while carrying a toddler whose face is covered in a green mess.
A suited-up Carell stands beside her looking equally concerned while furrowing his brow and spreading out his arms.
In another on-set shot, Garner, wearing rolled-up jeans and a blue and white blouse, is seen holding a very lifelike doll upside-down in between takes.
The upcoming film is based on the book by the same name and follows the character of Alexander, who has the worst day ever when thing after thing goes wrong.
