X17online.comVampires really do glisten in the daylight! A shirtless Peter Facinelli showed off his buff body while vacationing with his family in Cancun, Mexico, on Monday, August 26. The Twilight actor, 39, was joined by daughters Luca, 16, Lola, 10, and Fiona, 6, as well as his girlfriend, actress Jaimie Alexander, 29.
The group stayed at the Villa del Palmar, an all-inclusive five-star resort in the Playa Mujeres area of Cancun. "Love this place!" Facinelli tweeted. "Had so much fun!"
Alexander echoed his sentiments via WhoSay, writing, "Had such a fun time at @vdpcancun. So sad to be leaving."
Facinelli shared two pictures from the trip via his Instagram account. One photo featured Luca swimming "in the open sea," and the other image showed the actor talking to Fiona while wearing a snorkel and holding a waterproof camera. "They looked like they were having an incredible time," an eyewitness tells E! News. "One day they challenged a family from Canada to a game of beach soccer. Everyone from both sides were laughing the whole time and seemed to be really enjoying themselves."
The gang was also seen paddle boarding, kayaking and jet skiing during their luxe getaway.
After returning home Monday, Alexander tweeted a picture of a mug she painted during her stay at the hotel. "I might take this up as a hobby," the Thor: The Dark World actress wrote in a WhoSay caption on Tuesday, August 27. "What do you think?"
The trip came more than two months after Facinelli finalized his divorce from Jennie Garth, whom he married in 2001 after meeting on the set of An Unfinished Affair six years earlier.
