But bottom line: this casual, cool look on the Academy Award winner defines the difference between the two coastal hubs, fashion-wise at least. Reese is as SoCal as they come strolling out of her L.A. lunch in a look fit for everything from a business meeting to a birthday party—all in the two most basic colors of all.
What makes this outfit so obviously west coast is the blousey, light nature of the look. In New York that white top would be tighter and feature a longer sleeve. The skirt would be longer and definitely more form-fitting. And Reese would likely be wearing a closed or at the very most peep-toed shoe.
See the difference? It's all in the details. Though, we admit that gorgeous statement necklace would receive rave reviews on either side of the country, as would the over-sized bag. So maybe Reese is more of a great equalizer than a great divider, despite her Cali blonde hair.
