Don't congratulate the star just yet!

Singer Kelly Clarkson took to her Twitter today to deny rumors that she's expecting a child with her soon-to-be hubby Brandon Blackstock.

The pregnancy news began swirling on the Interwebs after a Virginia radio station mistakenly reported the news (and then took it down), however the story seemed believable since the country crooner had just announced that she had decided to scrap all her wedding plans and elope instead.

But she cleared that up, too.

"FYI ....Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony," she tweeted.

While the "Catch My Breath" singer had originally made plans to tie the knot with her beau in October, the wife-to-be announced today that they've opted for a much simpler route.

"We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope," Clarkson told People. "We just got so overwhelmed by it—the decisions."

She added, "Our whole life is a celebration. That's what we kept laughing about. We don't need another day where we throw a big party. Our lives are so in the spotlight all the time. Everything is such a spectacle, we were like, 'We should rather have an intimate moment that's special."

Whatever the bride wants.
