Forget about the big, grand wedding. Kelly Clarkson has other plans for her special day.

On Thursday's edition of Live From E!, Ken Baker, Ali Fedotowsky and Marc Malkin shared the American Idol winner's new strategy to marry boyfriend Brandon Blackstock.

"We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope,'" Clarkson told People magazine. "We just got so overwhelmed by it—the decisions."

No word on if the happy couple is sticking to their original wedding day for this October.

Also on today's show, the panel praised Wentworth Miller's decision to come out as a gay man.

The Prison Break star decided it was time to reveal his sexuality after being asked to attend a film festival in Russia.

"As a gay man, I must decline," the 41-year-old said in a letter to the St. Petersburg International Film Festival.  "The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly."

Finally, the panel updated us once again on Simon Cowell's continued baby drama.

Now that Lauren Silverman has reached a divorce settlement with her estranged husband, she and the X-factor judge are "100 percent together," an insider tells E! News exclusively.

Earlier in the week, Cowell expressed his excitement at becoming a new parent.  "Things are changing in my life right now, for the better," he told BBC. "I'm proud to be a dad."
