Would Anne Hathaway make a believable Kate Middleton?

The Les Misérables star's big break did come playing a royal in the Princess Diaries movies, as she was so eager to remind people during her award-season tear earlier this year.

And it turns out that, as far as some are concerned, playing the Princess of Genovia was just a warmup for playing the Duchess of Cambridge!

The Oscar winner has a new honor to revel in, having topped a new iHeartRadio poll that sought to answer the pressing question: Who is most fit to play Middleton in a biopic?

Hathaway stole the show with 25 percent of listeners' votes—but just barely!

Fellow brunette beauty and actual British person Kate Beckinsale was right there with 24 percent, and Natalie Portman collected 20.6 percent of the vote.

Maybe they could all play her, like the assortment of Bob Dylans in I'm Not There! (It would be a very parliamentary way to do it as well.)

Rounding out the list of actresses even considered to walk in Middleton's much-copied shoes are Jennifer LawrenceZooey Deschanel and Colbie Smulders.

Just as that selection is a quirky bunch, so were the questions included in this particular poll.

Nicolas Cage, Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson were the top three picks a wish list of Sharknado sequel stars (you know, if the Syfy movie's budget manages to grow by millions of dollars), and Carrie Underwood is the singer that fans would love to see twerk in a self-made video.

Selena Gomez was a distant second, with 23.8 percent to Underwood's 30.4 percent, but we're rooting for the super-random third-place finisher—Stevie Nicks, at 19.6 percent.

We bet she could twerk her own way.
