Need any further proof that Cleveland rocks? Look no further than Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise!
On Monday, Aug. 19, the mother-daughter had some low-key fun in Katie's native Ohio, where she's currently filming Miss Meadows. And little Miss Cruise, who turned 7 in April, sure has grown up right before our eyes!
Suri arrived on set to visit her mom around 1:30 p.m., a source tells E! News. From there, the pair had lunch at a café, where Suri enjoyed some macaroni and cheese. The ladies then went for something sweet—sharing an ice cream cone while "laughing and having fun."
Next up? Katie, 34, and her mini-me—along with her assistant, daughter's nanny, and two security guards—went into a few shops. Katie reportedly bought two pairs of gloves for herself and a pink ribbon for her and Tom Cruise's daughter.
"Suri was jumping around and she seemed to be super happy," says an eyewitness. 'She seemed relaxed and having a great time with her mom. It was all very low-key."
While they were out having fun, Katie appeared to have an urgent message on her phone letting her know to get back to set. Suri hugged her and asked her not to go, but ultimately mom went to work and daughter went into a book store with the nanny and security guards. She stayed there for about 30 minutes before heading home.
But the little fashionista didn't have to wait too long to reunite with her mama! Katie finished shooting around 3 p.m. and made her way back to Suri.
