Melissa George is going to be a mom!

On Sunday, the actress announced on Twitter that she's expecting her first child with French millionaire boyfriend Jean-David Blanc. "Baby on the way! So so happy...xx," she wrote.

It seems like the Australian star was trying to hide her tiny baby bump while attending the Downtown Calvin Klein With The Cinema Society screening of IFC Films' Ain't Them Bodies Saints at NYC's Museum of Modern Art last week, by strategically placing her clutch in front of her stomach for pictures.

However, once the news was out, George couldn't stop gushing about becoming a mother.

"This baby is very wanted and very much what we've been waiting for," she told OK! magazine. "It's no secret that I've always wanted to be a mother, and every time I had a birthday I would just be a little bit sad. You don't mind clicking over another number when you've got something inside you, growing, that you've always dreamed about."

The celeb, who is a few weeks into her second trimester, also shared that she's been feeling a bit of the morning sickness, telling the mag, "I was feeling nauseous pretty much all day, but nothing major; just tired. For me, it's just amazing how hungry you are. I've been craving Mexican food."

The Derailed star and her beau are aware of the gender but haven't spilled the beans, however, they've already been actively thinking of names for the baby.

"I'm really into old cinema and all that, but it's such a joint decision. Mine are going to be all bohemian and they're probably not going to fly, but the most important thing for me is that it works in both cultures. It's going to have a huge Australian influence and I want the name to work in my native country. But the baby has a French daddy so it's going to have to work there, too. There'll be lots of middle names!"

The newest addition to The Good Wife met her boyfriend at the BAFTAs in February 2012 and was photographed in a passionate embrace that night.

Her relationship with Blanc began after her split from her husband of 11 years, director Claudio Dabed, in 2011, and a short-lived romance with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, which ended in early 2012.

Congratulations to the couple!
