The meatballs have served up a victory.
A New Jersey judge has ruled that a reality series featuring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley can shoot at a Jersey Shore locale whose residents vociferously protested MTV's bid to bring the twosome's on-camera high jinks right to its doorstep.
Per the Asbury Park Press, the judge denied a request for an injunction filed by a local resident that sought to pull the plug on plans to shoot the Jersey Shore spin-off series Snooki & JWoww at Pelican Island in Berkeley Township.
The complaint rests on fears that the show's local presence—and its stars' unpredictable antics—would lead to a chaotic environment punctuated by an influx of tourists.
