Jake Owen is one helluva trouper.

The country singer gave Nashville fans a high-energy and free (!) show during an outdoor summer block party on Music Row last night, making it hard for anyone to believe that the crooner had just amputated part of his finger right before his performance

Yep, you read that right.

Owen was sporting a massive bandage on his right hand after getting the tip of his ring finger amputated Monday per his doctor's request.

According to WZTV in Nashville, Jake injured the finger in a go-kart accident about a month ago, and although it seemed to be healing normally, the finger started bleeding on Sunday.

"They just went ahead and amputated the last half of it off," Jake reportedly said before taking the stage Monday. "Kinda trying to pretend it doesn't hurt right now, but it's a little sensitive. Sensitive's a good word."

The singer tried to convince his doctor to wait until Tuesday, after the concert, but it didn't work.

Regardless, Owen kept his promise to fans and took the stage alongside Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett, just to name a few.

In addition to his hits "Alone with You," "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" and "The One That Got Away," Jake performed several new songs from his upcoming album, Days of Gold, due out December 3.
