Degrassi's summer finale, airing this Thursday on TeenNick,will deal with the immediate fallout of Adam's (Jordan Todosey) tragic death in last week's shocking episode. "Creep" will follow Adam's brother Drew (Luke Bilyk), girlfriend Becky (Sarah Fisher) and the rest of the Degrassi gang as they try to cope with the devastating loss.
We've got an exclusive sneak peek at the finale, which features a distraught Drew blaming Becky for his brother's death and a surprising classmate consoling the equally upset Becky...
"He died because of you," Drew tells Becky, both of them crying. Bianca (Alicia Josipovic), who has returned from college to be by Drew's side, soon leads Drew away, while Mike Dallas (Demetrius Joyette) consoles Becky. "He's a mess, he doesn't know what he's saying," he tells her, before offering to take her to the reception. "You go ahead, I don't think I'm welcome," she responds.
It seems as though the two will make peace by episode's end after Becky organizes a bonfire to celebrate Adam's life, which Drew attends and soon comes to the realization that they all need to make this upcoming school year the best one ever for Adam.
Also, in the episode, Clare (Aislinn Paul) receives good news: She's in remission and can leave the hospital, so she decides to help Eli (Munro Chambers) make a memorial video for their fallen friend. In the Aug. 15 episode "Honey," Adam died while texting and driving, teaching its young audience an important message. Executive producer Stephen Stohn tweeted after the episode, "We must never text and drive. Never."
