It's only a matter of days before Josh Duhamel and his pregnant wife, Fergie, welcome their first baby boy.

"[She's] unbelievable," Duhamel told us of Fergie earlier today while promoting the Valspar Hearts and Hands for Habitat charity campaign. "The girl is so impressive."

"You never know how it's going to go," he continued. "Some girls have a tougher time, some a little easier. Because it's a boy, it's been a really lucky pregnancy in a lot of ways. She's been happy, in good spirits, she looks great. Even at 8 and 3/4 months, she's still in great spirits and looking beautiful. And that just means that she's going to want another one, which is good for me."

As for the baby name they picked out, Duhamel joked, "I grew up in North Dakota so we were going to name it North but Kim and Kanye took that."

He added more seriously, "It's a fairly traditional name but you don't hear it very often. It means a lot to both of us and part of it is a family name. We're not telling anybody because we don't want to hear it. No matter what you chose, people are going to have their comments."

In addition to baby Duhamel, the 40-year-old actor recently welcomed another Duhamel member to the family: his wife Fergie! The singer legally changed her name to Fergie Duhamel last week.

"I think it's very sweet," he gushed. "I think it's a really sweet gesture for her to do that. I didn't ask her to do it, she just did it and it says a lot. She's an amazing girl."

Meanwhile, Duhamel teamed up with the Valspar Hearts and Hands for Habitat campaign, which helps provide immediate and long-term response solutions for families affected by natural disasters.

Duhamel said of giving back, "Talking about starting a family, it's something that I want to try and instill in my kid. We're blessed in a lot of ways and it's important to understand that not everybody has the same things that you do and it's important to help wherever you can."
