Josh Duhamel is "beyond" excited to become a dad.
The 40-year-old Scenic Route star couldn't help but gush over the impending arrival of his and wife Fergie's baby boy, saying he's ready for everything that comes with fatherhood.
Particularly the pee.
"You know what I'm mostly excited about? And this is going to sound weird. Because it's a little boy and I've always heard that they pee [straight up]…you gotta make it on the table when you're changing the diaper," Duhamel said with a smile. "They just pee on you. I'm actually excited about that. I want to see it (laughs). I think it's gonna be funny."
Fergie recently celebrated their little one's impending arrival with her second baby shower, hanging out with the likes of her Black Eyed Peas bandmates apl.de.ap and will.i.am. and munching on a yummy "chocolate melting cake."
And she hasn't been shy when it comes to talking about how "nice and wonderful" Duhamel has been throughout her pregnancy.
"He sings and talks to my belly all the time," Fergie told E! News recently. "He's very complimentary. I'm very lucky that he's really good to me."
"He's going to be an amazing father," she continued. "He's got natural parenting instincts. And he wanted to knock me up on our first date."
As for whether Duhamel and Fergie want more kids in the future, the actor is keeping mum for now, saying with a laugh, "she's actually expecting her second at the same time."
