The Mother Monster took to Twitter today to post a few heated tweets aimed at the celebrity blogger, who has made no secret of his apparent distaste for Gaga's music (and his approval for Katy Perry's).
"Please monsters do not be affected by someone like this NOTHING merits this kind of hatred. Im ok & I always survive. Ignore him. Just Dance," she wrote this afternoon.
No word yet what prompted the initial tweet, but we presume a few posts from Perez, including a video where he breaks down exactly why he believes Katy Perry's new single "Roar" is better than Gaga's "Applause" (the songs were released on the same day), caused a few Little Monsters to alert the pop star of the bad press.
It's also worth noting the tweet occurred on Madonna's 55th birthday, as Gaga and Madonna have famously feuded in the past, and Perez has only added more fuel to the fire by continuing to compare the queens of pop.
"? RT Does @LadyGaga's "Applause" sound too much like #Madonna's "Girl Gone Wild" to you? Hear the mashup and decide," he tweeted Tuesday.
But of course, Gaga's not going down without a fight, sharing another tweet which throws some serious shade at the new dad.
"Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident," Gaga added with a sting.
Yeah, that happened.
Although Perez has yet to directly respond to the "Born This Way" beauty's diss, he posted a few tweets highlighting Perry's success (again) while slamming the Artpop artist.
He shared a screenshot of the top singles on iTunes, and he also apparently mocked Gaga's No. 4 slot.
"Woah! @LadyGaga's Applause has dropped to #4 on @iTunesMusic in America. That country singer, Luke Bryan, is beating her," he wrote less than an hour after Gaga's heated tweet.
While Perez and Gaga were pals in the past, their friendship has apparently ended, and there's seemingly no stopping the back and forth between these two.
But despite the endless comparisons by Perez, there's no feud brewing between Gaga and Katy, and the singers took to social media to slam reports the two were fighting after their singles debuted the same day.
"@katyperry excited to hear your ROAR, sorry to hear about your truck!" Mother Monster wrote Saturday, referring to a fender-bender involving Perry's promotional truck for her upcoming album, Prism.
To which Katy replied: "@ladygaga what a WILD weekend so far...claws out, paws up! Looking forward to puttin my hands up & making them touch too!"
Can't we all just get along like Lady G and Miss K.P.?!
