Rock 'n' roll wedding bells have rung for Liv Tyler and fiancé Royston Langdon.

The 25-year-old actress, currently going Elvish in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, wed the Brit rocker and former Spacehog frontman-bassist in a private ceremony at a villa in the Caribbean on March 25, according to her publicist.

It's a first marriage for both Tyler and Langdon, who plan to throw a small bash for family and friends next month in the couple's hometown of New York City. Second-rate wedding bands need not apply.

Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and Playboy pinup Bebe Buell, who carried on an eight-month affair with the Boston rocker while she was still living with musician Todd Rundgren in the '70s.

The rock-progeny babe and her beau have been an item since 1998, shortly after she split up with her Inventing the Abbotts costar Joaquin Phoenix. The 30-year-old musician reportedly popped the question to Tyler on Valentine's Day 2001.

The Leeds-born Langdon recently kicked off a U.S. solo tour launched on the strength of his Spacehog fame. He and his brother, Anthony, formed the band in 1994, and the sibs scored a mid-'90s radio hit with the single "In the Meantime." In 1998, they followed up with the critically acclaimed but commercial dud The Chinese Album. The band released its third album, The Hogyssey, in 2001 and went on tour with Oasis and the Black Crowes, joined by attention-grabbing groupies Tyler and Kate Hudson (wife of former Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.)

Tyler has a habit of holding her own around rock's finest, moving out of the shadows of her famous father starting with a role in 1994's "Crazy" video and going on to star in close to 20 movies over the last decade, including That Thing You Do! and Armageddon. Probably best known at this stage as The Lord of the Rings' lovesick Arwen, Tyler will next be seen in Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl opposite Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, due in theaters November 7.
