With New York Fashion Week just around the corner, we're waiting with bated breath to see designs from some of the world's best designers!

But if you think you're just as talented as fashion's elite, then you might be in luck, because Peroni Nastro Azzurro has launched its second annual Made for Peroni Young Designer Awards, which gives budding designers the opportunity to become the next big thing!

The design competition will award one lucky winner with $20,000 from Peroni to launch a debut collection, plus an additional $20,000 to show their fab fashions at Made Fashion Week in February 2014.

And seeing as the winner is judged by a fashion-savvy panel of judges, including model Coco Rocha, E! correspondent and style expert Zanna Roberts Rossi, Brit designer Antonio Berardi, cofounder of Made Fashion Week Jenne Lombardo and last year's winner Nolan Bellavance, we're pretty sure the winner will walk away with enough street cred to launch a long-lived career!

Entering is easy, simply:

  • Develop, create and visually articulate a mood board presentation of one spring/summer look inspired by Italian style. Participants may use a combination of 2-D and 3-D sketches.
  • Designers brand name (if applicable), current location, date of birth, contact information including email address and phone number, a headshot, mini bio that's 3-5 sentences and includes educational background and a Mood board/inspiration sketches to: All applicants must submit this in any widely used format via email.
  • The three finalists must bring this to display at the announcement event in September 2013 for final judging and display.
  • The designer must be a minimum of 25 years old by Aug. 18, must reside and/or be based in New York City, Los Angeles or Miami

Just make sure to turn in your material by Sunday, Aug. 18 for your chance to win! The lucky final three finalists will be flown to New York on Sept. 10 for a chance to present their collection to the chic judging panel.
