Amanda Seyfried, Johnathan Rhys Meyers

Irish hunk meets American girl.

Well, at least that's what would happen in a movie.

Amanda Seyfried spent the day promoting her latest film Lovelace in London, followed by dinner at a restaurant where handsome actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers also happened to be dining.

So were the two eating together? No, according to the Daily Mail, who was told by the actress's reps that the pair just happened to be at the same place, at the same time.

The two were supposed to work together on Albert Nobbs back in 2010, but Seyfried withdrew to work on another project.

The Les Mis star donned casual jeans, a black leather jacket, and red heels to dinner—a more dressed-down look from her wardrobe earlier during the day while promoting her upcoming flick.

The blonde starlet called her role in the film "the biggest emotional education I've ever received," but admitted to being nervous while filming some of the more violent and nude scenes, also worrying that the controversial role could "ruin [her] career."

However, as the filming went on, the actress eased up.

"There was a moment where I though tthis could be not good at all, this could be really bad," she said. "But when I met Peter [her costar] and we started doing rehearsals, I was like, this is exactly right. I don't have any fears going forward."

Lovelace also features James Franco and Sharon Stone.
